I'm Jacob Rice, a professional photographer with six years of experience specializing in sports and portrait photography.

I am currently a Seasonal Photography Assistant with the Kansas City Chiefs.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications at Iowa State University.. In addition to my studies, I served as the Visual Editor for the Iowa State Daily for 4 years and work as a Photo Intern with Iowa State Athletics for 3. I also completed a season-long internship with the Iowa Cubs baseball team in Des Moines in 2023.

My passion lies in capturing authentic moments that highlight the uniqueness of the subject, hoping to present them as they are through compelling imagery.

Outside of my work, I enjoy playing the ukulele, learning American Sign Language, making varieties of ramen, taking film photos, and hanging out with my dog Kona.
