I'm Jacob Rice, an award-winning professional photographer in the Lawrence and Kansas City Area. I specialize in sports and portrait photography. My passion lies in capturing moments that tell the story of the subject.

I am currently a Photography Assistant with the Kansas City Chiefs.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications at Iowa State University. In addition to my studies, I served as the Visual Editor for the Iowa State Daily and worked as a Photo Intern with Iowa State Athletics. I also completed a season-long internship with the Iowa Cubs baseball team in Des Moines.

Outside of my work, I enjoy playing the ukulele, learning American Sign Language, reviewing sugar free sodas, taking film photos, and hanging out with my cat Lilo.
